What did we do?
To create a room for all seasons, we removed the inefficient polycarbonate roof which had been making the conservatory extremely cold during the winter months.
Having been in place for 12 years, the existing conservatory was still in excellent condition and only required a new replacement tiled conservatory roof to be fitted in order to give it a new lease of life.
After discussing the brief in detail at an initial design consultation, the homeowner arranged for all electrical work to be carried out by an independent installer.
Once complete, we returned to plaster the interior ceiling and make good – creating a contemporary and much warmer living space.
“Other than being far too cold in winter, there was nothing else wrong with the conservatory despite it being 12 years old,” explained Dave of Ferry Meadows Park in Hull.
“But we wanted to fit a new tiled conservatory roof onto the existing structure so that we could use the space all year. Thankfully, that’s exactly what it has allowed us to do - it’s excellent.
