The owners of this stunning 1880s period home wanted windows and doors for their modern extension which provided a complete contrast to the house.
They opted for our stunning Steel-look range of windows and doors, proving they look amazing on any style and age of property.
The black frames really ‘pop’ against the white render, and show that practical can also be stylish.
Owner Ellie said: “It was EYG who suggested this style to us, we were just going to go for grey and they recommended this and said the black would look better. It needed to be a complete contrast, as it’s so different from the rest of the house, which was built in the 1880s. We absolutely love the style and everybody comments and say they love it too.
“This style can be really expensive but EYG’s range is a more economical version, with it being in aluminium.”
As well as manufacturing and fitting steel-look windows in the kitchen/living room extension, we also installed two large skylights in the flat roof extension, and seven-metre-wide aluminium bifold doors, which were 2.5m tall.
These were also manufactured in the steel-look style, to perfectly match the windows.
We also made and fitted a matching black back door to complete the full home transformation.
Ellie said: “It’s such a family-orientated room, we absolutely love it. The bifold doors are fantastic as they really join the inside with the outside. We have them open for family parties and find we can get 40 or 50 people around at once without any problems because of the doors opening up the space.”
