What did we do?
Having removed and disposed of the old conservatory and its polycarbonate roof, our expert fitters laid new concrete foundations to extend the room’s footprint by 4sqm.
The solid brick orangery walls were the first construction task to complete, before fixing the frame of the uPVC windows and French doors in place.
After all electrics and TV sockets were installed, the impressive Hybrid roof was added to pave the way for our interior team to plaster and complete the contemporary finished look.
“Myself and my late husband always wanted an extension and felt an orangery offered all the same benefits as well as the extra light you get in a conservatory,” explained Christine.
“We wanted to move the main lounge area to the back of the house to enjoy looking out over the garden. Although he passed away a few months after it was complete, the orangery is a fitting tribute to his memory."
