Outstanding Edwardian orangery in Scunthorpe

What did we do?

Lots of home-owners love where they live, but often need a bit more space – and that was the main motivation for designing this simple but amazing Edwardian-style orangery in Scunthorpe.

Complete with its Hybrid roof and aluminium bi-folding doors, it’s a lovely light-filled space where you can sit, relax and watch the world go by.

Measuring 3.5m X 3m, luxurious living area is cosy and comfortable all year round – thanks to its extra deep foundations and underfloor heating.

The decision to incorporate a full-height 5.2m side wall provides excellent privacy from the neighbouring property and its brick corner pillars allow the homeowner to maximise the useable floor space available.

Integrating a rain-water harvesting system into the final design is also a nice environmentally-friendly touch, as any keen gardener will appreciate.
