What did we do?
Having made the decision to use the existing conservatory base as the footprint for the new installation during the initial design consultation, removing the old wooden conservatory and taking it away to be recycled was the first significant on-site task.
The next stage of the construction process saw the side walls positioned into place along with the frame for the new energy-efficient polycarbonate roof.
Installing the glazing ensured the new living space was watertight, before the new roof was neatly tied into the existing property with lead flashing.
