EYG tilt and turn windows allow you to ventilate your home without creating strong draughts. In the tilt position, the window allows fresh air to flow in freely at the top while allowing stale air to escape around the sides. When opened inwards from the side, the external sash can be cleaned easily and safely from inside your home.
EYG tilt and turn windows are a fully welded system with key locking handles and a shoot bolt locking mechanism; frames can be reinforced where required. All our tilt turn windows are available in a choice of white PVC-u, rosewood PVC-u, light oak PVC-u and hardwood.
Typical features for our tilt turn windows are as follows: mitre welded joints for strength; 28mm sealed double glazed units for noise reduction and insulation; stainless steel friction stays; 5 chambered profile for good insulation; high security stainless steel shoot bolt lock with a night vent facility; locking handles fitted as standard; scalloped internal glazing bead for extra security and attractive appearance.
