New tilt and turn windows freshen up Cottingham house

This home owner in Cottingham replaced their worn windows with brand new white UPVC tilt and turn windows which has give his home a complete overhaul and freshened up its appearance.

We removed and disposed of the old rotten wooden windows and installed the new tilt and turn style - which is completely versatile, being able to tilt inwards into the room, or fully open out.

We also removed the old wooden front and back doors and installed new UPVC doors which benefit from mulit-point locking, reinforced frames, and toughened glass as standard.

Overall, the house transformation has ensured better energy efficiency, security, and increased value and aesthetic appeal.

Why did they choose new UPVC tilt and turn windows?

Home owner Colin said: "My neighbour had their windows done by EYG, and I could see it was good quality double glazing. A sales representative rang the bell and asked to give me a quote and I spoke to my friend and he said he used you and you’d been very good, so I said yes.

"It was a good price, so I went ahead."

What did we do?

We replaced the front and back door with white UPVC doors - Colin opted for the Kensington back door and the Manor front door, both glazed with Minster glass.

We removed a rear window and installed sliding white upvc doors instead - allowing him effortless access to his back garden.

The windows were ripped out and replaced with white UPVC casement tilt and turn windows.

What did they think of the final result?

Colin added: "It was very smooth and very quick, they came on time to measure up and do everything. It all went very smooth, no problems at all.

"I’d say they were excellent, the two guys who came. They were polite and did everything I asked and I was very pleased. I would definitely recommend EYG."
